Stillwaters Eco Cruise

Sunday, July 17, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

An EcoCruise is great fun and very interesting, rain or shine! The health of Puget Sound is at risk and Stillwaters is delving deep into the reason why by taking people out on the water. We'll take a four-hour tour with Paul Dorn, fisheries biologist with the Suquamish Tribe, Joleen Palmer, Stillwaters scientist, and Betsy Cooper, marine biologist.

We will encounter the nearshore: the geologic formations, the critters who live there and how it is impacted by humans. Hands on activities could include plankton tows and bottom sampling, or looking at the critters magnified.

These tours are open to anyone 12 years old and above, however anyone between the ages of 12 and 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Cost is $40/each or $60/couple or parent & child. Sign up now! Pre-register at 360-297-1226 or info@stillwatersenvironmentalcenter.org. Please register byFriday, July 15 at the very latest.
