These tours are part of the campaign by many Kitsap residents, organizations, and others from around the state to purchase and preserve the forest and trails near Port Gamble for our forever use (the Kitsap Forest and Bay Community Campaign). The campaign organizers are working to raise $3.5 million by summer 2017 in order to save the forest. You can learn more about the campaign by going to SavePG.org or addressing questions to the campaign director, Susannah Hale, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
