On 2/10/17, Enl!ghten Kitsap Community Forum presents Alan Searle, MD. Dr. Searle received his medical degree from the University of Cambridge and moved to the United States in 1979. He has lived in Kitsap County since 1984 and worked as a family practitioner in Port Orchard until his recent retirement.
Over the last ten years Dr. Searle has become more interested in climate change and was trained as a Climate Reality Leader by The Climate Reality Project (www.climatereality.org) in 2015. He is a member of Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility (www.psr.org).
Dr. Searle’s talk will illustrate why he has become interested in climate change, a brief history of the topic, changes in climate so far, and the medical consequences of climate change. See attached flyer.
