Puget Sound Partnership Science Panel to discuss net pen aquaculture, Action Agenda

Panel will meet February 16, in Seattle

The Puget Sound Partnership’s Science Panel will meet on Thursday, February 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.at South Seattle Community College’s Georgetown campus, 6737 Corson Ave South, Seattle. 

Meeting highlights include:

  • A presentation and discussion by representatives of the Washington Department of Ecology and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on the state of the science surrounding net pen aquaculture.
  • A presentation and discussion on the Science Panel’s role in supporting the development of the 2018 Action Agenda, which is the cornerstone of the Partnership’s work to focus investments on actions that are most likely to advance Puget Sound protection and recovery targets.
