Where: Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park. Meet at the Shoreline Trailhead parking south of the town of Port Gamble at 9 a.m.
“Join our work party to put the Beaver Pond overlook on solid footing and improve trail access. Come build a woven wildlife viewing blind.
“You’ll help provide a firm foundation for wildlife viewing and protect the critical pond habitat of countless wetland creatures!
“Sign up and gear up! Volunteers should wear long pants, sturdy shoes and gloves. Bring water, your favorite shovel, rakes, pruners/loppers and trail building tools. Stay for BBQ picnic and go home with an REI bottle.”
