Volunteers will meet at the waterfront side of the trailhead, which is about one minute drive south of the town of Port Gamble. Overflow parking is available across the street from the waterfront parking. (Note: The GPC fall 2018 newsletter lists the location as “Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park: Waterfront Kingston, WA 98346,” but a phone call conversation with Erik Pedersen of GPC on 22 Oct. confirmed that the Stewardship Day will be occurring at the trailhead just south of Port Gamble rather than at the Kingston waterfront.)
- What: Construct a kiosk and benches and plant native plants. Bring work boots and gloves. Lunch will be provided.”
